I stayed at the Sainte Claire for the first time primarily because it was the only hotel available to me through my work travel agent for immediate booking on an emergency trip. When I arrived, I immediately fell in love with the hotel's location in town, it's nice being able to walk to food, drinks, and entertainment after a long day's work or for a quick snack. The hotel itself is beautiful and while the rooms aren't as big as the Suite type hotels I'm used to, your beds are much more comfortable. On my second trip to your area I asked for your hotel by name with the travel agent, and will continue to do so. -The Sainte Claire, 08/07
It was really a very nice hotel, and I enjoyed my stay there. The closeness to the San Jose Grand Prix made it very worthwhile. The San Jose VTA made getting to and from the airport easy and inexpensive. The restaurant was very good. I enjoyed several good bike rides while staying there - a bike rack for my bike at night would have been really nice. All in all, my trip to San Jose was very pleasant. -The Sainte Claire, 08/07

I worked at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis (a 1462 room property) for just over 2 years in the front desk/front office so I understand from first hand experience the logistics of a hotel and the challenges of hospitality. Your staff was absolutely a pleasure. Every time I passed one of your team members in the hall they always said hello. The housekeepers did an excellent job with all of the deliveries that they had to make for our group and the turn down service every night. The rest of your team members were excellent in calling me by my name as much as they could and holding any door that they could. You are so lucky to have Michael working for you. He is by far the most personable individual I have ever met, and I have traveled extensively. You need to do whatever you can to keep him because he is a true gem and because if I worked for the competition, I would do whatever I could to steal him away. I was very impressed. So much so that we stayed three extra nights and the staff got to know us. The front desk staff was able to give us a comparable rate that we had the first two nights and we were able to stay in a beautiful room and we were so grateful we went out and got her a gift. This was one of the best hotel rooms I ever stayed in. The heating/cooling system was completely silent, and the room was completely dark in the night. The lobby and restaurant were delightful. -The Sainte Claire, 03/06
The staffs were excellent. Restaurant was a 'real restaurant', not like the pretentious formula places you often find in up-market hotels. We ate there three nights out of our four. We particularly liked the style, decor and fittings of the hotel interior - lobby, ground floor corridors, lounge etc. I'm nor sure about the construction of the early part of this questionnaire. I just want to say that I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. It was the best hotel experience, especially the customer service!! I had a message on the room phone from the front desk ensuring that I had everything that I needed. Room service was very speedy. And the #1 thing that blew me away was that I dropped a $20 bill outside and the valet person brought it up to my room!
